Self-Learning Corner

Ten self-learning packages are available in CMI website for teachers to improve their level of written Chinese any time at home or schools. The corner is focus on practical usage of written Chinese for subject teachers. Examples mainly come from schools' examination papers and handouts. Programs are designed in interesting ways with explanations for each wrong answer. References are provided for in-depth study. Moreover, a databank of Chinese language error-analysis is constructed in which all examples are come from school teaching materials. For easy searching, it can be sorted by subjects, types of error or word classification. Teachers can have a thorough understanding on characteristics of written Chinese as well as common language errors.
